We are a small, veteran-owned family business and we stand behind every product we sell. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return. Inspecting your item before use is the most important step to protect your options.

Return Eligibility

We value your satisfaction. Our return policy is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have elapsed since your purchase, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Inspect before you use. Once a product has been used, it cannot be returned for any reason. Take a few minutes to check your item before first use. This is your best protection.
Conditions That Must Be Met
  • The item must be unused and in the same pristine condition as when you received it
  • It must be in the original packaging with all components and accessories intact
  • A receipt or proof of purchase must be included with the return
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained before shipping — see Section 03
Items That Are Not Eligible
  • Items that have been used in any way
  • Items not in their original condition, missing parts, or damaged for reasons not attributable to our error
  • Items returned after 30 days from the delivery date
  • Sale items and promotional purchases

If a return is denied, the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges if they want the product sent back to them. Do not send returns directly to the manufacturer. All returns must come to us.

Special Note: Glass Items

We do accept returns on glass items, but they are subject to a more thorough inspection process given the nature of the product category.

Glass returns are meticulously inspected for any sign of use. Any indication that the piece has been used — including material buildup, residue, or the smell of cleaning agents — will result in an automatic denial of the refund. If denied, the buyer is responsible for return shipping charges to have the product sent back.

Cleaning a piece before returning it does not make it eligible for a refund. The smell of cleaning agents alone is sufficient cause for denial. If you are unsure whether your glass qualifies, contact us before initiating a return.

How to Start a Return

Do not ship anything back without contacting us first. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages received without an RMA number may be refused or delayed. The process is straightforward.

Contact Us First

Email [email protected] with your order number and the reason for your return. Do not ship anything yet.

2 Step 02

Receive Your RMA

We will review your request and issue an RMA number and the return shipping address. This is required for your return to be processed.

3 Step 03

Pack and Ship Carefully

Package the item exactly as it arrived. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Ship with tracking and insure items over $75.

4 Step 04

We Inspect and Notify You

Once received, we inspect the item and notify you via email within a reasonable timeframe with an approval or denial decision.

Refunds

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you via email confirming receipt and informing you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. To be approved, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it — unused and in resellable condition.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after approval, follow these steps in order:

  • Check your bank account — it may already be posted
  • Contact your credit card company — posting can take several business days
  • Contact your bank directly — there is often additional processing time on their end
  • If you have done all of the above and still have not received your refund, email us at [email protected]

Exchanges and DOA Items

Dead on Arrival (DOA) / Defective items: If your product arrives defective or does not function as expected right out of the box, we will exchange it for the same item at no cost to you. Contact us immediately at [email protected] with your order number and a description or photo of the issue.

We only replace items if they are defective (dead on arrival) or damaged in transit. We do not offer exchanges for preference or change of mind — those are handled as standard returns subject to the 30-day policy and restocking fee. If you need to exchange a defective item, contact us to arrange the exchange before shipping anything back.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is the result of our error (wrong item shipped, DOA). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund total.

  • Use a trackable shipping service for all returns
  • Purchase shipping insurance on items valued over $75 — we cannot guarantee receipt and will not be liable for items lost or damaged in transit
  • Include your RMA number on the outside of the package — missing RMA information can cause delays or result in the package being refused
  • Package the item the same way it arrived to prevent damage in transit
If you chose not to purchase shipping insurance and your return shipment is damaged or lost in transit, The Dab Hut cannot offer a refund for that item. Protect yourself by using insurance on higher-value returns.

Price Matching

Price Match Policy — At Our Discretion

As a small family business, we do not have the same price matching policies as larger retailers. However, we strive to be competitive. If you find a lower price on the same item, contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to match it at our discretion.

Price Adjustments on Recent Orders

For purchases made on thedabhut.com, you have 72 hours from your order date to request a price adjustment if the same item drops in price in our store.

  • 4/20 flash sales — one-day-only, no price adjustments honored
  • Retroactive reimbursements will not be credited back to the original payment method
