Probably not. This dock ships as standard equipment in most of our WOHW bundle configurations. If your bundle includes a dock, you already have this one. This standalone listing is for customers who are buying a replacement, adding a second station, or building out the BYO kit without the dock pre-selected. No. The Deep Axial 10-Wrap is taller than the guard clearance on this dock and will not seat properly or clamp securely. It is also not compatible with the standard Crossing barrel coil holder by design. If you have the Deep Axial, use the Simple Machined Aluminum Dock or the Bigger Wireless Dock. Both are sized to accommodate it without clearance issues. The standard 25mm axial (not deep) and the 25mm barrel coil both fit this dock without issue.

There is a recessed channel on the underside of the dock body. After you clamp the coil, wrap the excess cord length around the channel and tuck it into the space. The cord exits the dock cleanly on the side facing your PID with the slack stored underneath instead of bunching up on the desk. It takes about ten seconds and the result is a noticeably cleaner station. No clips, no ties, nothing to buy. It is built into the dock body.

Often yes, but not guaranteed. The dock was toleranced for Crossing coils, so other brands with the same outer diameter profile typically fit. The problem is that outer diameter and coil sheath thickness vary slightly between manufacturers. Coils with thicker silicone or rubber sheaths may sit loose or not seat the guard correctly. Heat soak. The aluminum dock absorbs radiant heat from the coil and the PID sensor reads this as warmer than the coil actually is. So the coil shuts off earlier and runs slightly cooler than your set point suggests. Increase your set point in 10F increments until you get back to your usual vapor density. Because this dock has tighter tolerances and more predictable thermal coupling than the other options, the adjustment tends to be small and consistent. Once you find your new set point it stays stable.

Four differences. Coil fit: this dock is precision-matched to 25mm coils and will not accommodate larger or taller coils. The Bigger Dock handles coils up to 30mm in diameter and 40mm tall. Expansion: the Bigger Dock has M5 threaded holes in the body for mounting additional coils via posts, enabling up to a three-coil workstation. This dock has no expansion capability. Cord management: only this dock has a built-in cord management channel. The Bigger Dock does not. Cosmetics: this dock ships clean with no blemishes. The Bigger Dock ships with minor cosmetic marks and is priced lower as a result.
