How It Works
Three steps and your WOHW V2 is running wired. No modifications to the housing, no permanent changes.

Remove the Wireless Handle
The WOHW V2 housing is modular by design. Remove the bottom portion and slide out the wireless handle. Your housing stays completely intact.

Install the Wired Adapter
Thread the Crossing Technology adapter into position. The inner ring fits 22.2mm and 21.8mm Crossing Technology bowls, with a lip inside that accommodates 21.5mm bowls as well.

Coil Locks to Housing
With the adapter in place, your 25mm barrel coil sits locked against the housing. Sustained contact means heat goes directly into the system with nowhere to escape.

What Changes When You Go Wired

Lower Extraction Temps
Zero heat loss between coil and housing means you can run at lower temperatures and still achieve a full extraction. Less thermal waste, better flavor retention.

No Inter-Session Heat Soak
Wireless setups lose temp when you lift the coil between hits. Wired maintains sustained contact so the system holds temp. Back-to-back sessions without waiting.

Pre-Heat Your Glass
In diffuser mode, you can pre-heat a glass or titanium bowl before loading. You can also heat 21.5mm quartz bangers directly in the diffuser side while docked.

Heads Up
V2 Housing Only
This kit was designed specifically for the WOHW V2. It will not fit V1 housings. If you are unsure which version you have, reach out before ordering. The threading and fitment are completely different between generations. |
Heads Up
Barrel Coil Only
This conversion works exclusively with the standard 25mm barrel coil. Axial coils will not seat correctly with this adapter. Do not attempt to force fit an axial coil — it will not work and could damage your coil or housing. |

Good to Know
Docking Is Not Ready Yet
A proper docking solution for running the wired heater safely in a dock is in development. We are not offering an interim option until we have one we stand behind. If docking is a requirement for your setup, hold off until we have something ready. |
Safety
Exposed Coil System
Running wired means a high-temperature coil exposed at operating temp. Keep hair pulled back, avoid loose clothing near the coil, and never leave it unattended while powered on. Keep away from children and pets. This setup is for confident, experienced users. |
