Almost certainly not. This is the most common support issue we see on this device, and it is a charger compatibility problem, not a defect. When the P2A drains fully mid-session, the battery management system can drop into a state where it will not accept a normal USB-C Power Delivery handshake. The short version: try a 20W+ USB-C PD wall charger first, then an older 5V phone brick if that fails, then a few plug-unplug cycles to force renegotiation.

A USB-C wall adapter rated 20W or higher is the recommended option for daily charging. Most modern phone fast chargers, tablet chargers, and laptop USB-C bricks meet that spec. Avoid charging from laptop or desktop USB ports, old 5W phone bricks (the small square ones), and cheap multi-port hub chargers that split power across devices. A quality USB-C cable matters too. The cable that ships with the device is ideal, but any known-good USB-C cable works.

Yes. The P2A’s Cyclone Cap, battery diameter, and chamber dimensions are compatible with Puffco Pivot accessories and aftermarket caps. Pivot glass attachments that connect to the pen body also fit the P2A.

The P2A is available in Black and Orange. Both use the same 3DXL ceramic chamber and identical internals. The only difference is the housing color. Pick whichever you prefer.

After a session, run a dry burn cycle on the highest setting to vaporize residual material. For deeper cleaning, remove the chamber and soak it in isopropyl alcohol (91% or higher) for 15 to 30 minutes, then let it air dry completely before reattaching. Do not submerge the battery body.
