Titanium Insert for the Switch GO
Medical grade titanium, machined to 14mm for the Switch GO chamber. The most durable insert in the lineup and the most affordable. Fast to heat, tough to break, and the easiest one to live with.
Why Run Titanium
Titanium is the workhorse of the insert world. It gives up a little flavor neutrality to sapphire and quartz, and in return it is faster, tougher, and cheaper. For a lot of people that is the right trade.

Switch GO Titanium Insert FAQ
What buyers ask about titanium versus sapphire and quartz, flavor, durability, seasoning, and fit.
Should I get titanium, sapphire, or quartz for my Switch GO?
It comes down to what you value. Titanium is the toughest and the cheapest, heats the fastest, and never cracks, so it is the easy daily driver and the smart backup. Sapphire is the flavor king and the priciest. Quartz sits in the middle, strong flavor and a lower price than sapphire.
If you are rough on gear, travel with your GO, or just want a no-worry insert at the best price, titanium is the pick. If pure terpene flavor is the whole point for you, step up to sapphire. Quartz is the balanced middle if you cannot decide.
Does titanium change the flavor of my concentrate?
For most people, at moderate temperatures, titanium tastes clean. A minority of users with sensitive palates pick up a faint metallic note, and it tends to show up more at higher temperatures. Seasoning the insert before first use and keeping your temp in the low to mid range takes care of it for nearly everyone.
If you have run titanium before and known it is not for your palate, or you are dabbing top-shelf rosin and want every terpene, that is what sapphire and quartz are for. For everyday concentrates, titanium is clean and consistent.
How do I season the titanium insert before first use?
Run the empty insert through a heat cycle or two on the Switch GO, let it cool, and wipe it out with a dry or lightly isopropyl-dampened swab. Repeat once if you want. This burns off any leftover machining residue so your first real dab tastes clean. It takes a couple of minutes and you only do it once.
Can this insert crack or break?
Practically speaking, no. Titanium does not suffer thermal shock the way sapphire and quartz do, and it will not shatter if you drop it. That is the whole reason to run titanium. It is the insert you never have to baby, which makes it the best travel and everyday option in the lineup.
How is this different from the Wym Grade 1 titanium bucket you sell?
This is the official Dr. Dabber factory insert, the affordable way to run titanium in your GO. The Wym Grade 1 bucket is a machined billet part, made to order with heavier walls, more heat retention, and color options, at a higher price. Both are titanium and both drop into the GO. Start here if you want tough and cheap; step up to the Wym bucket if you want a titanium insert built like a custom piece.
Will this fit my Switch 2 or the original Switch?
No. This insert is 14mm, sized specifically for the Switch GO chamber. The Switch 2 uses a 20mm insert, so you want a 20mm insert for that device. The original Switch uses a different chamber entirely and does not accept Switch GO or Switch 2 inserts. If you are unsure which device you have, message us before ordering and we will confirm the right fit.

Verified BuyerI initially got this as a backup but it’s become the daily driver in my Go. Works great, no flavor degradation, tougher than the stock quartz and easier to keep clean.
