Common Questions
Are these the same as Gemcup joystick caps?
They are designed to look and function similarly but they are not identical. After testing, the performance is close and the 2.0mm restriction gives a similar draw feel. We think the Gemcup still edges them out by a small margin, but these perform well and cost significantly less. A solid alternative if the Gemcup is out of stock or out of your budget.
What is the difference between the two styles?
Color only. The transparent cap is clear glass and the two-tone is a reddish orange and purple blend. Both use the same 2.0mm air holes and the same joystick design. Function is identical between the two.
Do these work with terp pearls?
Yes. The joystick design creates directional airflow that helps spin terp pearls inside the insert. This is one of the main reasons people upgrade from the stock cap. If you do not have terp pearls yet, check out our Terp Pearls listing.
Will these fit other devices?
No. These are designed specifically for the Dr. Dabber Switch². They are not universal carb caps and will not fit other e-rigs or bangers.
Are more styles or sizes coming?
