We teamed up with glass artist AngusChenChen to build a joystick cap line that does something most caps don’t: let you choose your airflow. Instead of shipping one fixed hole size and calling it done, we went back to the drawing board and developed three distinct airflow solutions, each one available in every color. You’re not stuck with whatever restriction a cap happened to come with. You pick the draw, then you pick the look.
This is a real partnership, not a rebrand. AngusChenChen handles the glass work and we dialed the airflow tiers around how Switch² users actually dab. The result is a cap line built for the device, by people who run it.
Three Tiers. One Right Pull.
Every color comes in all three airflow tiers. Rather than list a single hole diameter, we tuned three draws around how you actually dab. If you’re coming from another cap, the comparison ranges below will help you find your spot.

Tier 1
Restricted
The tightest pull of the three. More resistance, longer contact with the heated surface, and a slower, more deliberate draw. Built for low-temp sessions, flavor chasing, and pulling multiple draws off one load over a longer sit. If you’re comparing: close to a Gemcup Nunchuk, roughly the 1.6 to 1.8mm range.

Tier 2
Stock
The balanced middle. Close to the airflow the Switch² ships with, just with the joystick design and better glass. If you like how your stock cap pulls and don’t want to change the feel, this is your tier. The safe default if you’re unsure. If you’re comparing: similar to the Switch² stock cap, or a Gemcup in the 2.0 to 2.2mm range.

Tier 3
Open
The freest pull. Bigger airflow, faster chamber clearing, and an easy draw with little resistance. Built for one-and-done dabs and big pulls. We think the Open cap is good enough for most situations if you only want to grab one. If you’re comparing: like the open options out there such as JNG, or a Gemcup in the 2.5mm+ range.

Common Questions
What’s the difference between Restricted, Stock, and Open?
Airflow. Restricted is the tightest pull with the most resistance, built for low-temp and flavor. Stock is the balanced middle, close to the cap your Switch² came with. Open is the freest draw with the biggest airflow, built for fast one-and-done dabs. Every color comes in all three tiers, so you choose the draw and the look independently.
How do these compare to Gemcup, JNG, or MGL caps?
As a rough reference: our Restricted lands near a Gemcup Nunchuk, around 1.6 to 1.8mm. Our Stock sits near the Switch² stock cap or a Gemcup in the 2.0 to 2.2mm range. Our Open is comparable to the more open options like JNG or a Gemcup in the 2.5mm+ range. We list named tiers instead of one hole size because we’d rather you choose by how it pulls than do math on millimeters.
Which airflow should I get for my glass?
There’s no required match. It comes down to the draw you want and whether you like quick one-and-done dabs or multiple draws over a longer sit. The Open cap is good enough for most setups if you only want one. Restricted and Stock are more of a preference, some people love them, some don’t. An open-airflow glass piece may or may not pair best with an Open cap, so run what feels right to you.
What’s the deal with the UV colors?
UV Green and UV Orange look muted and fairly neutral in normal indoor light. Put them under UV and they reveal their green or orange. If you want a color that pops all the time, go with one of the solid options. If you like the subtle look that lights up under blacklight, the UV caps are the move.
Do these work with terp pearls?
Yes. The joystick design creates directional airflow that helps spin terp pearls inside the insert. This is one of the main reasons people upgrade from the stock cap. If you do not have terp pearls yet, check out our Terp Pearls listing.
Will these fit other devices?
No. These are designed specifically for the Dr. Dabber Switch². They are not universal carb caps and will not fit other e-rigs or bangers.
