The Switch 2 does not just hold one number. It shapes the temperature across your draw. The 2026 firmware added the non-linear Hill and Valley curves to the original three, plus a fully custom mode. Pick the curve that matches how you pull.
Pair over Bluetooth (Android native, iOS through the LabLink browser) for 1-degree precision across the full 250 to 650 range, custom hold times from 10 to 90 seconds, adjustable auto-shutoff, LED themes, and shareable temperature profiles.
Pick Your Insert
The insert is the heart of the flavor. Your Switch 2 ships with the 20mm quartz insert installed. In the builder you can add a second material to swap between, or upgrade to sapphire.
Inserts are wear items and are not covered under the device warranty. Treat them like glass and they will last.
