TDH Threadless Grinder
Aluminum + Stainless Steel
Our branded grinder. No threads, no jams. N52 magnets, diamond-cut teeth, lifetime warranty. Pick your material.
Why Threads Are the Problem
Every frustration you have had with a grinder traces back to threads. Here is what a threadless design removes from the equation.
|
01
No More Jammed Lids
Threaded grinders jam because herb particles and resin build up in the thread grooves over time, then bind when you try to open. The threadless design has no grooves to fill. The lid seats on a flat magnetic interface and opens clean every time, regardless of how long it sits between uses.
|
02
N52 Magnetic Closure
N52 is the strongest grade of commercially available neodymium magnet. The lid snaps into place and stays secure during grinding. It holds well enough that the grinder will not pop open in a bag, but releases cleanly with one hand. No torquing, no unscrewing, no fighting it.
|
03
Diamond-Cut Teeth
The teeth are milled in a diamond pattern that catches herb from multiple angles simultaneously. The output is a consistent medium-fine grind that packs into a vape chamber or bowl with full surface coverage and even heat distribution. Same result every grind, no adjusting technique required.

Aluminum or Stainless
Same design, same teeth, same magnets, same Dab Hut logo. The difference is material, weight, and what that means for how you use it.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminum
Lightweight and portable. The anodized finish is a chemical process, not paint. The color bonds into the aluminum surface, making it scratch-resistant and durable under daily use. Available in multiple colors. Right choice if weight and portability matter to you.

Solid Stainless Steel
Substantial weight, brushed finish, built for a desk. The weight is intentional. Solid stainless does not dent or scratch under rough handling. No color options, just brushed steel that looks better with age. Buy it once and stop thinking about grinders.

Heads Up
No Bearing on This Model
This grinder uses a magnetic threadless system without a skateboard bearing. Rotation relies on the precision-machined fit between the two body halves. It spins smoothly and grinds consistently, but bearing-assisted rotation is not part of this design. If a bearing matters to you, see our Cyber Grinder by Ceasefire Hardware, which includes a full bearing system alongside its threadless mechanism.

Heads Up
Stainless Is Heavy by Design
The stainless version weighs over a pound. That weight is intentional and part of what makes it feel like a premium desk tool, but it is not a pocket grinder for most people. If you carry your grinder or travel with it regularly, the aluminum version is the right call. The stainless belongs on a desk or in a bag, not a jeans pocket for all-day carry.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does a threadless grinder work if nothing is screwed together?
N52 neodymium magnets are embedded in both the lid and the grinder body. When you set the lid on, the magnets pull it into alignment and hold it seated through every grind. A precision-machined fit between the two halves prevents lateral movement so the teeth engage correctly. To open, you pull the lid straight up and break the magnetic seal. No twisting, no thread engagement, nothing to strip or jam.
Should I get the aluminum or stainless steel version?
The internal design is identical on both. Same teeth, same magnets, same chamber size, same warranty. The difference is material, weight, and price. If you carry your grinder, travel with it, or want color options, get the aluminum at $49.99. The anodized finish is a chemical process bonded into the surface, not paint, so it holds up under daily use. If you want a heavy, premium desktop grinder and do not care about color, get the stainless at $99.99. Both are the right answer depending on how you use it.
Is this grinder good for dry herb vaporizers?
Yes. The diamond-cut teeth produce a medium-fine, fluffy grind, which is the right consistency for convection and hybrid dry herb vaporizers. That grind fills the oven or bowl evenly, gives hot air full contact with the material, and prevents channeling where heat bypasses unground chunks. It works well with the Dr. Dabber Ghost 2, Yocan Pocket, and similar portables we carry. If you are buying a dry herb vape and need a grinder to go with it, this is a natural pair.
How does this compare to the Brilliant Cut Grinder?
The Brilliant Cut is the standard most threadless grinders get compared against. It produces a more refined grind, spins more smoothly, and has interchangeable screen options this grinder does not. It costs $88 to $115. This grinder costs $49.99 for the aluminum version. That price difference is the honest answer. If you want the best threadless grinder available regardless of cost, the Brilliant Cut is worth the money. If the gap between $49 and $88 matters, this grinder handles the job well and most of our customers use it as a daily driver without complaint.
How do I clean a threadless grinder?
For routine upkeep, a stiff-bristle brush after each session clears debris from between the teeth. The threadless design actually makes this easier than a threaded grinder because there are no thread grooves to trap material. For a deep clean, disassemble fully and soak in 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes to break down resin buildup, then rinse with warm water and let everything dry completely before reassembling. On the stainless version, a quick ISO wipe on the magnetic interface keeps the closure clean. Do not use bleach or strong alkaline cleaners on the aluminum, as they can dull the anodized surface over time.
Does this grinder have a kief catcher?
No. This is a 3-piece design: lid with teeth, grinding chamber, and storage chamber below. There is no screen and no separate kief compartment. The 3-piece format keeps the profile compact at 41mm tall and the herb chamber deeper, so you get more capacity per fill and fewer components to clean. If a kief catcher is a priority for your setup, that is worth knowing before you order.

Verified BuyerI recently received the raw SS grinder. It has a nice weight to it and comes with a great carrying case. It works fantastically, the grind is fluffy and medium/coarse. Very happy with this purchase and will buy again.

Best grinder I’ve ever touched. Super hearty and a perfect grind. It has completely replaced my BCG. Plus the Dab Hut stamp on it makes it the best looking one on the market too. I smile every time I grind up some flower!
