SAML / POPULAR GLASS | SWITCH² ATTACHMENT

Classic RBR-style recycler with the spinning vortex action dabbers know well. Adapted by SAML for the Switch² with a kickback mouthpiece. Works with any Switch² carb cap, joystick or auto spinner, with cap restriction tuning how the pull feels. Once the vortex catches, the function is a show in itself.

Vortex Recycling Action
The signature RBR move. Water spins in a steady vortex while you pull, recycling through the chamber the entire time. Once it catches, it stays caught. Strong filtration, big visual payoff.

Kickback Mouthpiece
Angled kickback sits comfortably on the lips and helps direct vapor away from splashback. Easier to use one-handed during longer sessions and friendlier on the wrist than a straight mouthpiece.

Heads up: this piece sits higher above the Switch² than other glass. Keep your setup on a flat surface and away from elbow zones. A bump that other glass might shake off can knock this one over.

Meet the Maker

Steven at SAML / Popular Glass

SAML, also known as Popular Glass, is a Chinese glass shop run by Steven that has been turning out quality designs at value prices for years. The shop just stepped into the Dr. Dabber Switch² market, and Steven is bringing the same approach that earned him a reputation in the broader concentrate scene. Honest design, clean function, fair price.

This RBR adaptation is one of the four SAML pieces we are carrying for the Switch². RBR-style rigs have been a dab community favorite for years, and Steven’s take fits the Switch² well while keeping the core vortex function intact.

How It Works

Function and Feel

If you have used an RBR before, you already know the move. If you have not, here is what makes the design popular in the dab world.

Vortex Action
The signature RBR feature. The chamber geometry forces water into a steady circular spin during the pull. Vapor passes through that moving water for strong filtration and clean flavor. The visual is part of the draw.

Water and Pull Matter
Like the Shredcycler, this piece needs a touch more water and a stronger pull to get the vortex spinning. Once it catches, it stays consistent through the rest of the hit. Plan for a slightly fuller fill than you might use on a stock attachment.

Kickback Mouthpiece
Angled mouthpiece sits comfortably on the lips and helps direct vapor away from any potential splashback. Easier on the wrist during longer sessions and friendlier for one-handed use.

Carb Cap Pairing

Pair It With the Right Cap

Any Switch² carb cap works, joystick style or auto spinner. The variable that matters is air hole restriction. This RBR needs a decent pull volume to get the vortex spinning, so cap choice has more impact here than on a non-recycler attachment.

For More Airflow
Slightly Open Caps
Caps with air holes a touch more open than stock pair best if you want the vortex to catch faster and stay strong. More air helps the spin engage on the first part of the pull. A good default if you have not run an RBR before.

For Stock Recycler Feel
Standard Caps
Stock-sized air holes give you the balanced RBR experience this style is known for. Good filtration, smooth pull, full vortex action once you commit to the inhale. Safe choice if you are unsure.

For Heavy Restriction
Tighter Caps
Caps with smaller air holes add real restriction to the pull. Only for users who specifically prefer a tight, focused draw. On a vortex recycler this tight, expect to work harder to get the spin going and stay engaged. Niche, but valid.

No single right answer here. Start with whatever cap you already have, then dial up or down if the pull does not match what you want.

Specs at a Glance

The Details

Compatibility
Dr. Dabber Switch²
Designed specifically for the Switch² glass post. Drops in and seats with a standard fit. Not compatible with the original Switch or other e-rigs.

Recycler Style
RBR Vortex
Classic Recycler Ball Rig geometry. The chamber shape forces water into a circular spin under pull pressure. Once engaged, the vortex stays steady through the rest of the inhale.

Water and Draw
Slightly Higher Fill
Needs a touch more water and a stronger initial pull to get the vortex spinning than a standard recycler. Once it catches, no extra effort needed. Plan for a fuller fill than stock glass.

Mouthpiece and Color
Kickback, Clear
Angled kickback mouthpiece for comfort and splash protection. Clear only at launch. Other colorways may follow if demand warrants it.

Know Before You Buy

Straight Talk

Heads Up
Sits Taller Than Other Switch² Glass
The RBR design extends further above the Switch² than the stock glass or most other attachments. That added height means a higher center of gravity. Keep your setup on a flat surface, away from elbow zones and pet tail range. A bump that other glass would shake off can knock this one over. Not fragile in normal use, just deserves a stable spot.

Heads Up
Needs Water and Pull to Engage
Like the Shredcycler, this piece needs slightly more water and a stronger initial draw than a basic attachment to get the vortex started. Once it catches, the function is smooth and consistent. First-time users sometimes underfill or pull too light and miss the vortex action entirely. Add a touch more water than you might think and commit to the inhale.
