The Dry Top is a 14mm female receiver. That one detail is what makes it so useful. Pair it with the matching whip for a relaxed, draw-from-a-distance session, or treat it as the female joint at the heart of a modular build. The whip is optional, so you choose the configuration that fits your setup.

The Dry Top plus the matching 14mm whip: a black silicone hose with a glass 14mm male joint on one end and a mouthpiece on the other. Drop the male end into the Dry Top and you have a complete whip setup ready to pull. The simplest way to get the full experience in one purchase.

Without Whip (Top Only)
Just the SAML 14mm female Dry Top on its own. The right pick if you already run a compatible whip, want to use it as a building block in a modular rig, or have your own configuration in mind. The flexible, lower-cost option.

The Whip

Black Silicone, Glass on the Joint

The whip pairs a flexible black silicone hose with a glass connection so the part that meets your Dry Top is proper glass-on-glass, not plastic on glass.

Glass 14mm Male End
One end of the whip is a glass 14mm male joint that drops cleanly into the 14mm female Dry Top. Glass-on-glass at the connection means a snug seat and no plastic taste where it matters most.

Silicone Hose and Mouthpiece
The black silicone hose is flexible and durable, with a mouthpiece on the far end. It bends where you need it to and stands up to regular handling, so you can sit back and draw comfortably from a distance.

The Dry Top accepts a 14mm male connection. If you are pairing it with your own glass or whip, make sure that piece is 14mm male. For 18mm gear, you will need an adapter to step down to 14mm.

Handmade Glass Varies
SAML glass is handmade, so small variations from one piece to the next are normal and part of owning quality glass, not defects. Expect minor differences in the glass and finish between individual pieces.

Rinse the Whip to Keep It Clean
If you run the whip, give the silicone hose and glass joint a rinse now and then to keep the draw tasting clean. Soak the glass joint in iso and rinse the silicone with warm water, then let both dry fully before the next session.
