The Print
Everybody You Grew Up With, In One Yard
The scene is a backyard at night. Green grass across the bottom third, a deep blue sky above it scattered with white stars, and a yellow doghouse over on the right with a name lettered across the peak. Stretched out beside the doghouse, taking up most of that side of the mat, is an enormous red dog with a white wordmark running down his flank. Across the sky a graffiti tag drips in yellow, green and orange like it was put up ten minutes ago.
Then you start counting. A biplane going by overhead with a white pilot in goggles. A tiger-striped pup perched on a brick block. A ghost with its tongue out. A plant with teeth coming up out of a green pipe. Two black spiked wrecking balls with grins, a mushroom lying on its side with X’s for eyes, a fire flower. A robot dog. A fox. Down in the grass, a beagle working a blue bong, a white dog with a banana, a small one in a hockey mask, a wiener dog, a grave marker with a message on it, and a cardboard box full of somebody sleeping it off. Up top, one very small blue-haired man standing on the doghouse roof watching all of it.
Nothing is named and nothing needs to be. You will recognize most of them on sight, argue about two of them, and find something new the third time you look. There is a line lettered in the top left that tells you exactly what kind of yard this is, and a number next to it that your customers will read instantly. Under a blacklight the grass goes teal, the sky drops to a real night, the graffiti burns, and the whole thing turns into a completely different picture.

iDABtoons works in exactly this register: cartoon nostalgia stacked until it tips over, drawn dense enough that the density is the point. The back of the mat carries their graffiti mark, their handle, and the Moodmats print with the hand-inked number. Somebody spent real hours on this and it shows in how little of it is filler.

Rubber That Already Had a First Life
Moodmats started with scraps from old wetsuits and discarded scuba and surf neoprene, material that was headed straight for a landfill. That became Lava Rubber, and Lava Rubber is what every Moodmat is cut from. The feedstock now comes from wetsuits, gaskets, weatherstripping, seat molds, and other clean scrap that gets collected or donated. More than two tons of it moves through the New Jersey shop every month, gets pressed into sheet stock, then die-cut and screen printed. Keeping that material out of the ground has been the point from day one.
Closed-Cell Neoprene
Closed-cell rubber does not drink up what you spill on it. Water, reclaim, and terp splash sit on the surface instead of soaking in, so a wipe with soapy water puts it back to new.
It Stays Put
The rubber grips whatever it is sitting on and grips whatever you set on top. A rig that would skate across a glass table or a finished desk stops moving the second it lands on a Moodmat.
Tough and Self-Extinguishing
Heat resistant, self-extinguishing, and built out of material that already survived a first life. This is not a printed coaster that curls after a month on the table.

Why It Matters
Forty Made, Live Sale Only
Forty of these exist. They were hand numbered and released through a live sale, which was the entire distribution. No shelf, no product page, no restock. A print with this much work in it does not get run again, because the reason it is rare is the same reason it was expensive to make.
Printed Right On It
The back carries the artist mark, the Moodmats print, Made in USA, and the number inked by hand into the box over 40. That is not our marketing language, it is stamped on the mat.
No Reprints
Moodmats does not go back and run a sold-out design again. When these leave our shelf, the next one you see will already belong to somebody else.
Worth Hanging
Of everything in our case, this is the one most likely to end up framed instead of loaded. There is too much going on to bury it under a rig.

Wipe it down with warm water and a little dish soap, then let it air dry flat. That is the whole routine. Do not run it through a washing machine or a dryer, do not scrub the print with an abrasive pad, and do not rest a lit torch or a glowing-hot banger directly on the surface. Use a stand or a puck for anything still at temperature.

Know Before You Buy
The Number You Get Will Vary
Each mat is hand numbered out of 40 on the back and we hold more than one. The photos show the number on the copy we photographed, not necessarily the copy that ships to you. Ask before you order and we will tell you exactly which.
UV Reactive Is Not Glow in the Dark
The second version needs a blacklight. A 365nm or 395nm lamp is what brings it up. It will not charge in daylight and glow on its own in a dark room. Under normal light you get the full-color print, which is a complete piece on its own.
Upcycled Means Variation
The rubber is reclaimed scrap, so base color, speckle, and surface texture shift from sheet to sheet. That grey grit around the print edge is the recycled material, not a defect.
Heat Resistant, Not Heatproof
The rubber is self-extinguishing and handles warm gear without complaint. It is not a torch pad. Park anything still glowing on a proper stand or a quartz puck, not on the print.
