Assembly Overview
How It Goes Together
Eight unique components stack and thread into a single post. The whole assembly is finger-tight and breaks down just as easily for cleaning or reconfiguration. A hex set screw threads into the Top Post Clamp to lock the coil in place without needing to fully tighten the post stack.

Base Layer
Part B (Base Washer) sits on the dock post first. Part A (Dock Adapter, Small) threads onto the M5 post and locks the base washer in place. Then the first Part C (Cylindrical Spacer) threads down until it sits flush with the washer. All connections are finger-tight at this stage.

Spacer Sections
Part D (Section Washer) drops over Part C. Then Part G (Connector Stud) threads into the spacer until it stops. A small amount of G will sit above D. The next Part C threads onto G until flush with D. For the Extended 3-post build, repeat this step one more time with a second D and G.

Top and Coil Mount
The final Part D sits on the last spacer. Part E (Dock Adapter, Large) threads into the last Part C until flush. Part F (Top Post Clamp) seats onto Part E and secures your coil. Thread Part H (Hex Set Screw) into the M8 threaded connection on top of the Top Post Clamp to lock the coil down. The set screw lets you secure the coil without fully tightening the post stack, so you can leave the posts at your preferred height and still have a solid hold. Go back through every connection and snug everything down for the final tighten.

Dock Compatibility
This kit is designed specifically for the two docks listed above. It will not fit other docking stations or stands.
Where It Mounts
Both compatible docks use the same M5 threaded post on the top surface. Part A threads directly onto this post to start the build.

Bigger Wireless Dock Station
The Bigger Wireless Dock has two M5 post positions. You can install one post at Standard height and a second at Extended height for staggered multi-coil access. Clear the dock of any installed coils before starting assembly.

Simple Machined Aluminum Dock
The Simple Machined Aluminum Dock shares the same M5 threading. The Modular Coil Post Kit mounts the same way on both docks. Same assembly steps, same parts, same result.

Component Breakdown
Adapters (A & E)
Part A (Small) threads onto the M5 dock post to start the stack. Part E (Large) threads into the top spacer and provides the seat for the Top Post Clamp. One of each per build.
Spacers and Washers (B, C, D)
Part B (Base Washer) sits at the bottom. Parts C (Cylindrical Spacers) and D (Section Washers) alternate to build height. Standard uses 2 of each, Extended uses 3.
Connector Studs, Clamp & Set Screw (F, G, H)
Parts G (Connector Studs) join spacer sections together. Standard uses 1, Extended uses 2. Part F (Top Post Clamp) seats on Part E at the top and holds your 25mm coil in place. Part H (Hex Set Screw) threads into the M8 connection on top of the clamp to lock the coil down securely without needing to fully tighten the post stack.

Assembly Has a Learning Curve
This is a multi-piece threaded assembly. It takes a few minutes to put together the first time, especially if you go Extended. The included guide walks you through every step, and a video walkthrough is being finalized. Once you have done it once, it goes fast.

The Modular Coil Post Kit does not include a dock. It requires either the Bigger Wireless Dock Station or the Simple Machined Aluminum Dock, sold separately. It will not fit other stands or docking stations.

Hex Set Screw for Coil Lock
Each kit includes a hex set screw (Part H) that threads into the M8 female connection on top of the Top Post Clamp. This lets you lock the coil in place without having to fully tighten the posts down. You can set the post height where you want it, then use the set screw to secure the coil from above. A small hex key or Allen wrench is needed to tighten Part H. This is the only part that is not tool-free.

Multi-Coil Staggering
If you plan to run two coils on the Bigger Wireless Dock, build one post to Standard height and the other to Extended. Staggered heights prevent the coil stems from interfering with each other. You will need two kits for a dual-post setup.

Frequently Asked
Do I need any tools for assembly?
The post assembly itself is completely finger-tight. No wrenches needed for Parts A through G. The only tool you will need is a small hex key or Allen wrench to tighten Part H (Hex Set Screw) into the Top Post Clamp. A standard metric hex key set covers it.
What’s the difference between the two variations?
The Standard (2-Post) ships with 10 pieces and builds a compact post. The Extended (3-Post) ships with 13 pieces and adds one more spacer section for additional height. Both include the hex set screw. Choose the one that fits your setup at checkout.
Will this fit the Coil Stand and Clamp Kit?
No. The Modular Coil Post Kit is designed exclusively for the Bigger Wireless Dock Station and the Simple Machined Aluminum Dock. It uses M5 threading that is specific to those two products.
Do I need two kits for a dual-coil dock setup?
Yes. Each kit builds one post. If you want two coils mounted on the Bigger Wireless Dock at the same time, you will need two separate kits. We recommend building one at Standard height and the other at Extended for staggered access.
What is the hex set screw for?
Part H (Hex Set Screw) threads into the M8 female connection on top of the Top Post Clamp to lock the coil in place. This means you do not have to fully tighten the post stack to get a secure coil mount. Set your posts to the height you want, seat the coil, then tighten the set screw from above to hold everything firm. It also works as an added layer of security if you prefer to tighten the posts down fully. A small hex key or Allen wrench is needed to drive it.
