Lunar Lander
Heavy Recon Loadout
The Lunar Lander at full power, paired with the portable of your choice, and every tool needed to keep both running clean.
Built for Complete Coverage
A single device is a session. Two devices, a maintenance kit, and optimized pearls is a system. The Heavy Recon Loadout is for people who want the Lunar Lander performing at its ceiling and a portable that handles everything the Lander cannot.
The Lunar Lander e-Rig
The Lander is your home base. Built on the same rebuildable heater technology as the Core 2.1 and XL series, this is a full desktop-class extract experience in a compact, handheld form.
Select Your Auxiliary Device
Every configuration includes the Lander, the 6mm pearl, the heated tool, and the cleaning kit. The only decision is which portable fits your style. All four are concentrate pens built for different session priorities.

Dr. Dabber Ghost 2
The Ghost 2 is Dr. Dabber’s ceramic-chamber concentrate pen, built for vapor that is clean and flavor-forward from load to finish. If you are pulling rosin or high-quality extracts and want to taste what you paid for, this is the secondary to pair with the Lander. Terp pearls included (2.5 to 4mm).

Ultra-Compact Stealth
Voozr P2A
The Voozr P2A is one of the most compact capable concentrate pens available. It delivers real performance in a form factor that goes completely unnoticed. If discretion is the mission, the P2A covers it without cutting corners on vapor quality. Terp pearls included (2.5 to 4mm).

High-Performance One-Hitter
Galaxy Pen
The Galaxy Pen is a slim, well-built concentrate pen designed for potent single draws. Clean aesthetics and a no-maintenance one-hitter format make it the simplest option in the lineup. Load it, draw, done. Note: due to the Galaxy Pen’s chamber design, terp pearls are not included with this configuration.

Heavy Recon Loadout FAQ
The most common questions buyers ask before choosing their configuration.
How do I choose between the four auxiliary devices?
Match it to how you actually use a portable. The Ghost 2 is the premium pick — Dr. Dabber’s ceramic-chamber concentrate pen delivers the best vapor quality of the four options and is the right choice if flavor matters as much away from home as it does on the Lander. The Yocan Black Pocket is the precision pick — real-time temperature control with 1-degree accuracy and a 1400mAh battery make it the most technically capable budget auxiliary in the lineup. The Voozr P2A is the stealth and portability pick — compact enough to disappear in a pocket while still delivering real vapor performance through its 3DXL ceramic chamber. The Galaxy Pen is the simplicity pick — a slim one-hitter format with no setup required and a straightforward load-and-draw experience. Note that the Galaxy Pen does not include terp pearls due to its chamber design; all other three configurations do.
Why does the Lander get a 6mm pearl instead of smaller ones?
Pearl size is matched to chamber diameter. The Lunar Lander’s bucket is large enough that a 6mm pearl makes proper contact with the heated walls and has enough mass to build thermal momentum during your draw. Smaller pearls sized for pen chambers — typically 2.5 to 4mm — would rattle around without doing useful work in the Lander’s larger bucket. A 6mm pearl in the right chamber means more surface area in contact with the concentrate, better heat distribution across the load, and more complete extraction per session. The 2.5-4mm pearls included for the portable are sized correctly for those narrower pen chambers.
What does “rebuildable heater” actually mean for me day-to-day?
It means the Lander is a long-term device, not a disposable one. Most eRigs at this price point are designed around a sealed or integrated heater — when the heater degrades, you either send it in for service or replace the whole unit. The Lander’s heater core is user-serviceable, meaning you can pull it out and rebuild or replace it yourself without tools or sending it anywhere. Day-to-day, this matters in two ways: regular ISO cleaning extends the heater’s life significantly (which is why the ISO vial in this kit is not a bonus item — it is the correct maintenance tool for this hardware), and when the heater eventually needs attention, you handle it yourself in a few minutes rather than losing the device for days. The ISO vial and cotton swabs in this loadout are the right tools for that maintenance routine.
Grenade or Stargazer glass — which should I choose?
The glass selection determines how your vapor is filtered and delivered. The Grenade bubbler is a more compact attachment with a water chamber that filters and cools the vapor before it reaches you — fill it halfway, never above the slits, and it produces smooth, filtered hits with a manageable draw resistance. The Stargazer is a taller attachment with a different water path that tends toward slightly more open airflow and a longer vapor path. If you prefer cooler, smoother hits and don’t mind a bit more maintenance around water levels, the Grenade is the more common choice. If you prefer a more open draw or like the longer neck, the Stargazer is worth considering. Both are glass and both connect to the same Lander base — if you are not sure, the Grenade is the default recommendation for new Lander users.
What if I want to use both devices at the same time?
Both devices are fully independent and can run at the same time. The Lander and your auxiliary pen do not share a battery, chamber, or charging cable. The terp pearls are sized separately for each device so you are not sharing consumables between them. The heated dab tool works with both. The design intent is specifically that you never have to wait — one device runs while the other charges, or both run simultaneously if that is your situation. There is no downtime scenario built into this system by accident.
Can I use this loadout for dry herb or just concentrates?
Concentrates only. The Lunar Lander and all four auxiliary options are purpose-built wax and extract devices — none of them support dry herb. If you need a home device that handles both flower and concentrates, the Dr. Dabber Switch 2 is the device for that use case and is available in the Tactical Mobile Dabbing Loadout. The Heavy Recon Loadout is the right choice if concentrates are your primary use and you want to maximize what you get for the budget.
Is the ~20% savings real, or is it padded against inflated retail prices?
It is calculated against the actual individual prices of the same items on the site. Pull up the Lunar Lander, your chosen auxiliary device, and the accessories separately and add them up — the bundle price should come in at or below that total by roughly 20%. The savings vary slightly by configuration since the Ghost 2 configuration carries a higher auxiliary price than the Galaxy Pen configuration, but the discount logic applies consistently across all four options. If the math does not check out on the configuration you are looking at, contact us before ordering and we will sort it out.
