Three engineering choices define the Frolic’s performance. Each one is deliberate, and together they land a precise convection-to-conduction ratio that stays consistent whether you are sipping for flavor or pulling full open for clouds.

Hybrid Heat Delivery
The 120W stainless steel CTS heater produces a large surface area of hot air on demand. Primary extraction happens via convection, while a small fraction of conducted heat from the heater keeps the oven warm and ready. The result is even, flavorful extraction with none of the localized scorching that conduction-heavy designs suffer from.

100% PEEK Airpath
The full vapor path is CNC-machined PEEK, a high-performance engineering polymer known for exceptional heat resistance, chemical stability, and dimensional precision. PEEK is the only plastic that stays completely inert at extraction temperatures, giving you the purity of glass with durability and airpath length that glass can’t match.

200mm Cooling Path
A powerful heater demands a serious cooler. The total length of the pathways inside the cooling unit exceeds 200mm, which is enough distance to bring vapor down to a comfortable temperature regardless of how hard or soft you pull. Optional 14mm and 18mm water attachments drop it further for glass pairing.

SESSION MODE
40-220°C
Press the on button and the heater holds your set temperature until you press it again or the built-in timer expires. Draws stay spaced out across the session while the oven keeps your herb warm between pulls. Ideal for slow, flavor-forward sessions where you want the device to just stay ready.

DEMAND MODE
40-240°C
Hold the button, heater fires. Release, heater cuts out but retains enough residual energy in the oven that the next draw is nearly instant. No wasted battery between draws, and access to the full 240°C ceiling for big demand-style rips.

DIALED-IN CONTROL
Tailored Experience
Airflow, temperature, and feedback all adjust in the moment. The Frolic communicates its state through three complementary channels so you always know where it is in the cycle.

0-25 L/min Airflow
Rotate the base of the mouthpiece to dial airflow from fully closed to 25 liters per minute. Open for bigger clouds and lighter flavor, restrict for denser, more flavorful vapor. The heater cannot be overwhelmed no matter how much air you pull through it.

Color OLED + LED
The 0.96-inch color OLED shows set temperature, ready state, session time or elapsed draw time, battery level, charging status, and current mode. A dedicated LED above the on button glows orange while heating and green when the set temperature is reached. Both can be toggled off in setup.

Haptic Feedback
Vibration notifications confirm device state changes so you can keep your eyes off the screen. Ready, mode change, timer alerts, and low battery all trigger distinct patterns. Toggle vibration on or off from the setup menu based on your preference.

Charge via the 2A USB-C port when you have time, or swap in a fresh cell on the go and keep going. When the battery eventually reaches end of life, replace it instead of replacing the device. No planned obsolescence, no sealed enclosures.
AEROSPACE-GRADE BODY
Ultem (PEI) + PEEK
The body and heater tube are machined from Ultem and PEEK, two high-performance polymers chosen for their thermal stability and mechanical strength. The textured surface enhances grip and aids heat dissipation at the same time.
HARD-ANODIZED OVEN
6000-Series Aluminum
The oven holds approximately 1/4 gram of herb and uses the same hard-anodized finish found on premium cookware. It is food-safe, non-reactive, naturally non-stick, and holds up through years of daily use without coating degradation.
TOOL-LESS MAINTENANCE
3 Parts + Mouthpiece
The cooling chamber disassembles into three cleanable parts plus the mouthpiece. Standard Viton O-rings throughout. All parts are dishwasher safe. Quick clean between sessions, deep clean in isopropyl whenever buildup gets thick.

Every control sits where your hand expects to find it. The weight distribution, button placement, and mouthpiece geometry were all tuned for comfortable one-handed use.

The battery sits positioned so the heaviest component falls into your palm. A low center of gravity keeps it stable on a flat surface and steady when attached directly to a water piece.
2.5N Firing Button
The on button sits at thumb height with a 2.5N actuation force. Firm enough to prevent accidental fires, light enough to hold comfortably through demand-mode draws.
Wide-Bore Mouthpiece
The elliptical mouthpiece slows air velocity at the exit to kill throat tickle. Rotate it to whatever position suits your grip. Direct connection to 14mm or 18mm water pieces is available with the optional attachments.

Every device has quirks and tradeoffs. Here is what to expect out of the box so there are no surprises.

Slight rattle when cold is normal
Shake the Frolic when it is cold and you will hear a faint rattle. That is the ceramic pins inside the heater assembly shifting within their normal thermal-expansion tolerance. The sound is quieter once the device heats up. It is not a defect and it does not affect performance.

Faint buzzing during operation
The 120W heater is regulated with pulse-width modulation. Because the heater has a large surface area, those PWM pulses can produce a subtle buzzing sound while the device is firing. This is characteristic of the regulation system and is present on every unit. It does not affect performance or safety.

Pack light, not tight
The Frolic relies on airflow through the herb bed. Fill the oven to the brim but tap gently, do not compress the load. Packing tight restricts airflow and can lead to scorching at the bottom. Scorched herb is almost always a packing issue, not a device issue.

Sits closer to Mighty+ size
At 105 x 63 x 24 mm and 245g, the Frolic is a proper portable but not a pocket stealth device. It fits comfortably in a jacket pocket or bag. If you need something ultra-compact, this is the wrong device. If you want desktop-level power that still travels, this is exactly what you want.

Expand Your Frolic
The Frolic ships with a single airflow-adjustable cooling unit, but Limelight builds a second one we keep in stock alongside the device. The Direct Output Adapter swaps in for the standard cooling unit and unlocks three different ways to run the Frolic. If you grabbed it as an add-on with this order, here is what you have and how to use it.

16mm Stem Compatibility
The mouthpiece bore accepts 16mm stems. That includes the same diameter used by the TinyMight 2, so any beaded glass, wood, or aftermarket TM2 stem you already own slides right in.

S&B Dosing Capsules
The bore geometry accommodates Storz & Bickel Dosing Capsules. Pre-load capsules at home, drop one in for a session, swap it out for the next round. Useful for shared sessions and microdosing.
03
Direct Mouthpiece Fit
Standard Limelight fold-out mouthpieces drop straight into the adapter. You lose the variable airflow control of the stock cooling unit but gain a more direct vapor path and a simpler cleaning routine.
QUICK USE GUIDE
How to Run It
01
Swap the Cooling Unit
Pull the standard CU off the top of the Frolic, snap the Direct Output Adapter on in its place. No tools, no fasteners. Same socket, same fit. About 5 seconds.
02
Pick Your Load
Bowl load runs the classic Frolic hybrid extraction with the stem as an extended cooling path. Stem load runs more like a TinyMight 2 with pure-convection through the stem. Pick one. Loading both creates uneven extraction and heavy draw resistance.
03
Drop In Your Stem
Slide a 16mm stem, S&B Dosing Capsule, or standard Limelight mouthpiece into the bore. Beaded glass stems give the most cooling. Bare glass tubes give modest cooling. Capsules give zero cooling but huge convenience.
04
Clean as Usual
Tool-less disassembly works the same as the stock cooling unit. Wipe with isopropyl after stem use, soak overnight when residue gets thick. PEEK and Ultem are inert and isopropyl-safe.
