JNG Studios | Golink Cap for the Switch GO

Handblown glass joystick caps for the Dr. Dabber Switch GO, made one at a time by JNG Studios in the USA. Every cap is its own piece of art, from UV-reactive Ion and color-shifting CFL glass to crushed opal and hand-pulled cane. Pick the one that speaks to you, because once a colorway is gone, it is gone.

Art You Actually Use
Each cap is worked by hand at the torch, so no two are exactly alike. Color, pattern, and size vary a little from piece to piece. That is the point.

Open by Design
The Golink runs an open draw. It shines on glass that already adds drag, like diffusion pumps and recyclers, or on any setup where you just like a wide-open pull.

Open caps are not for everyone. If you are new to open caps or want more restriction on your Switch GO, look at the Wym Designs Piston, which meters airflow through a machined bore.

Built for Bigger Glass

A Golink is open by design, so the feel of the draw comes from your glass instead of the cap. That is exactly what you want on pieces that move a lot of water.

Open Airflow
Most caps restrict the inlet to build back-pressure. The Golink keeps it open, so the pull stays easy even through heavy percs and recyclers.

Pair It With Heavy Glass
Diffusion pumps and recyclers already add drag. Run a Golink on top, like on our AngusChenChen RBR Recycler, and the session stays smooth.

Or Just Run It Open
Some people simply like an open pull on any glass. If that is you, this is your cap, and it looks better than anything stock.

JNG works with specialty color rods, so many of these caps do more than sit there and look good.

UV Reactive
UV Ion, UV Isotope, and UV Mix colorways glow under a blacklight. Same cap, a whole different look after dark.

CFL Color Shift
CFL glass changes color between daylight and indoor lighting, so a CFL cap looks different depending on the room.

Opal and Cane
Crushed opal is fused over a base color, and cane is pulled by hand into stripes. These take the most time at the torch, which is why they carry a higher price.

If you are new to open caps, or your glass is a light dry top, the draw may feel too open. The Wym Designs Piston is the restricted option for the Switch GO.

Handblown glass varies. Expect small differences in size, color, and pattern, and the occasional tiny bubble or torch mark. That is part of the craft, not a defect.
