Ghost 2 Recon Loadout
A curated portable concentrate kit built for flavor-focused sessions away from home. Three components, one mission: clean vapor on demand.
Three Components, One Mission
Each piece in the Recon Loadout earns its place. Here is what you are getting and the role each component plays in the setup.
|
Primary
Dr. Dabber Ghost 2
The engine of the loadout. Radial sidewall heating wraps the concentrate on all sides for full, even extraction rather than a direct coil burn. Five precision temperature modes cover the full range from low-temp terpene pulls to high-extraction hits. The hinge-top loading design opens cleanly with one hand, which matters when you are loading outdoors.
|
Utility
The Dab Hut Heated Dab Tool
A sticky, cold dab tool is a liability on the go. The included Mini Buddy HDT heats a ceramic-coated tip just enough to drop concentrates cleanly into the chamber without dragging residue onto your fingers or the device. It runs on its own battery, so it adds zero drain to the Ghost 2. Long battery life means it runs for a full day of sessions without a recharge.
|
Upgrade
Ghost 2 Glass Mouthpiece
The stock ceramic mouthpiece that ships with the Ghost 2 is functional, but the glass upgrade changes the experience. Glass stays cooler to the touch during extended sessions and gives a noticeably cleaner lip feel. It also sharpens the aesthetic of the device. The ceramic mouthpiece stays in the kit as a backup, so you are not losing anything by running glass.

Ghost 2 Technology
Three engineering decisions separate the Ghost 2 from a basic dab pen. All three point toward the same goal: terpene preservation on the move.
Packed for Day One
Beyond the three core components, we include a set of consumables so your first session and ongoing maintenance do not require a separate order.

Ghost 2 Recon Loadout FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most before someone pulls the trigger on this bundle. If yours is not here, hit us on Discord or the contact page and we will sort it out same day.
What does this bundle include that the Ghost 2 standalone does not?
The standalone Ghost 2 ships with the device, the ceramic eChamber, the stock ceramic mouthpiece, and a USB-C charger. The Recon Loadout adds three things the standalone does not include: the glass mouthpiece upgrade, the Dab Hut heated dab tool, and a cleaning kit (4x 3mm ruby pearls, 75% ethyl alcohol wipes, pointed cotton swabs, and an iso vial). You are also saving $20 versus buying each item separately. If you already own a heated dab tool and cleaning supplies, the standalone is the better buy. If you are building a portable kit from scratch, the bundle gets you there in one order.
Does the glass mouthpiece fit the Ghost 2 directly or does it need an adapter?
The glass mouthpiece included in this bundle is the official Dr. Dabber Ghost 2 glass mouthpiece. It fits directly onto the Ghost 2 with no adapter required — it seats into the same connection point as the stock ceramic mouthpiece and swaps in or out in seconds. The ceramic mouthpiece that ships with the Ghost 2 stays in the box as a backup. You are not losing anything by switching to glass, and you can swap back to ceramic anytime.
How does the heated dab tool work with the Ghost 2’s hinge-top design?
The Mini Buddy HDT heats a ceramic-coated tip to a low temperature that is just enough to melt your concentrate off the tool and drop it cleanly into the chamber. The Ghost 2’s hinge-top opens with one thumb and stays open while you load, which makes the heated tool combination particularly clean to use. You open the hinge, warm the HDT tip for a few seconds, touch it to your concentrate, lower it into the chamber, and let the material fall in. No dragging, no residue on your fingers, no sticky mess on the device’s loading surface.
The HDT runs on its own internal battery and is charged separately. It does not draw power from the Ghost 2, so using it does not affect how many sessions you get per Ghost 2 charge.
Which temperature mode should I start with?
Start at mode 2 or 3 for your first session. The Ghost 2’s five modes run from low terpene-preservation temperature at mode 1 up to full extraction at mode 5. Mode 1 produces the lightest vapor with the most flavor expression — ideal for live resin, live rosin, and solventless concentrates where terpene preservation is the priority. Modes 4 and 5 push harder through denser material like HTFSE or for users who want maximum vapor density over flavor.
The practical starting point is mode 2 or 3 for most concentrates and most users. Take a dab, evaluate whether you want more vapor production or more flavor, and adjust one step at a time from there. Once you find your preferred mode for a given concentrate, stick with it — consistent temperature is what produces consistent sessions.
What concentrates work best in the Ghost 2?
The Ghost 2 handles the full range of concentrates. Shatter, wax, and budder load easily and vaporize cleanly at mid-range modes. Live resin and live rosin perform particularly well at lower modes where the radial heating preserves terpene expression across the full dab. Sugar and crumble work fine at mode 3 and above. HTFSE and sauce-style concentrates with higher liquid content are manageable but benefit from smaller loads and slightly higher modes to avoid pooling in the chamber before vaporization is complete.
One thing to keep in mind: the Ghost 2 is a flavor-first device. It is at its best with quality concentrates that have something to preserve. If you are running material where vapor production matters more than flavor, modes 4 and 5 get you there.
Can the Ghost 2 be used with a water piece for filtration?
The Ghost 2 is a standalone portable device and is not designed for direct water piece attachment. It does not have a standard joint fitting on the mouthpiece end. If water filtration is important to your setup, the Dr. Dabber Switch 2 is the Dr. Dabber device built for it — it has a dedicated water attachment and glass attachment available. The Ghost 2 is built for portability and direct draw. It does what it does very well, but water filtration is outside its design intent.
How do I clean the eChamber and keep it performing well?
After each session, while the eChamber is still warm, use one of the pointed cotton swabs included in this bundle to wipe any residual oil off the chamber walls and the heating element area. Warm residue wipes away easily. Cold, hardened residue requires more effort and can be harder to remove without leaving residue behind. The 75% ethyl alcohol wipes in the kit handle the exterior of the device and the connection threads.
For deeper cleaning, remove the eChamber and soak it in the included iso vial for 15 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water and let it dry completely before reinstalling. The ruby pearls follow the same process. Do not reinstall any wet components — residual moisture in a heated chamber causes a rough first hit and can temporarily affect flavor. Let everything dry fully before reassembly.
How long does the Ghost 2 battery last, and can I use it while charging?
The Ghost 2 runs on a 1,000mAh LiPo battery. In practical use, most users get a full day of moderate session activity per charge. Exact session count varies depending on which temperature mode you use — higher modes draw more power per hit — and how long you run between uses. The 15-minute auto shutoff protects the battery when the device is left on idle.
Yes, the Ghost 2 supports USB-C passthrough charging, meaning you can run it while it is plugged into a power source. This is useful for extended home use where you want to keep the battery topped off, but it is worth noting the device is designed primarily as a portable — the passthrough capability is a convenience feature, not its intended primary use case.
