The Lighthouse
A tribute to the Lightfighters. Purpose-built glass for ball vape users who demand dense, direct vapor. Not a general-purpose rig that sort of works.
Engineered for Ball Vape Logistics
Most glass on the market is designed for combustion rigs or small portables. Ball vape users are left with too much dead air, awkward angles, and chambers that dilute dense vapor before it reaches them. The Lighthouse was designed around two non-negotiable metrics: Reduced Air Volume and Maximum Airflow.
Built for Real-World Use
Operating a 600 degree injector head or a wireless diffuser is a different activity than lighting a bowl. The Lighthouse was designed with that reality in mind.

The Lighthouse FAQ
What ball vape users ask before picking their glass — including how the Lighthouse compares to a standard bong and which devices pair best with it.
What makes the Lighthouse different from a standard water pipe for ball vape use?
The fundamental problem with running a ball vape through a standard bong is dead air volume. A large-chamber bong is designed around combustion — the user lights a bowl, smoke fills the chamber as they draw, and they clear the accumulated smoke in a final hard pull. Ball vapes produce dense, constant vapor from the first breath to the last. A large chamber dilutes that vapor with stale air before it reaches you, softening the hit and reducing the density that makes ball vaping worthwhile in the first place.
The Lighthouse was designed specifically to avoid that. The low-volume chamber means there is no reservoir of dead air between the device and your lungs — the vapor your WOHW or Ruby Twist Pro produces arrives at full concentration. The 5-hole diffuser perc provides enough cooling and filtration without over-filtering. The Kickback mouthpiece angles your face away from the heat source. These are not standard bong features adapted for vaping; they are decisions made specifically for ball vape logistics.
What is the best glass rig for the Wireless One-Hit Wonder (WOHW)?
The Lighthouse is the rig we designed and carry specifically for the WOHW. Its an 18mm female connection with a low-volume chamber preserving the dense, punishing vapor output the WOHW is built for. Water level just above the perc holes, or a bit beyond, slow-to-medium draw speed, and the Kickback mouthpiece keeping the heated diffuser at a comfortable distance from your face — that is the standard WOHW + Lighthouse session setup.
The alternative most WOHW users land on before finding purpose-built glass is a small beaker or straight tube bong. These work functionally but introduce more dead volume than needed and usually lack the ergonomic angle that makes sustained sessions with a hot wireless device comfortable. The Lighthouse solves both of those things in one piece of glass.
Does the Lighthouse work with the Ruby Twist Pro?
Yes. The Ruby Twist Pro’s 18mm injector head slots directly into the Lighthouse’s 18mm female joint, if you really wanted to using a basket screen. This is where the Kickback mouthpiece design matters most — the coil runs hot and having the draw angle tilt your face away from the heating element rather than toward it is the correct ergonomic setup for extended injector sessions. Using a bowl is the obvious choice here. The low-volume chamber performs the same role it does with the WOHW: preserving vapor density from the injector rather than diluting it before it reaches you. If you are running the Ruby Twist Pro through a straight-tube rig right now, the difference a low-volume angled rig makes is noticeable from the first session.
What does “low volume chamber” actually mean for the hit?
In practical terms it means the hit is immediate and dense rather than building and soft. With a large-volume chamber, the first portion of your inhale is pulling stale air from inside the glass before the vapor your device is producing starts arriving. The hit ramps up slowly. With a low-volume chamber, vapor from your device reaches you almost immediately on the draw — there is minimal air column between the joint and your lungs. Ball vape users tune for this. The “chug” feedback that distinguishes a good ball vape session from a mediocre one comes from high-density, low-dilution vapor arriving with consistent pressure. The Lighthouse is sized to deliver that rather than to hold a large bowl clearance for combustion use.
Can I use the Lighthouse for dry herb or flower without a ball vape device?
Yes. The 18mm female joint accepts a standard 18mm male bowl or banger, and the included 18mm to 14mm adapter opens it up to 14mm accessories. The 5-hole diffuser perc handles combustion and concentrate sessions without any changes to the setup. The rig functions as a capable traditional water pipe for solo sessions and lighter use. The trade-off to understand is that the same low-volume chamber that makes it ideal for ball vaping means it is not designed for large group sessions or heavy combustion bowl clearances — the chamber fills quickly and the hit is direct. For single-user dry herb or concentrate sessions through a banger, it works well and cleans up easily.
What is the correct water level in the Lighthouse, and does it matter?
It matters more than it does on a large-volume bong, because the Lighthouse’s smaller chamber means water level shifts have a more direct effect on airflow resistance and vapor density. The baseline starting point is water just above the perc holes — enough to submerge the diffusion slits and produce bubbles on the draw, but not so much that you are pushing vapor through a deep water column that adds drag and cools the hit aggressively. From there, adjust based on your device and temperature preference. Higher heat sessions from the WOHW or injector benefit from a touch more water to tame the temperature. Flavor-forward, lower-temperature sessions benefit from slightly less water so the vapor arrives warmer and more aromatic. The wrong water level for this rig is overcharged — too much water adds resistance and dilutes the directness that makes the low-volume design worthwhile.
How do I clean the Lighthouse, and how often does it need it?
A quick rinse with warm water after each session prevents resin and residue from hardening in the perc. For a deeper clean, fill the chamber with 91-99% isopropyl alcohol, cover the joint and mouthpiece, shake gently for 30 to 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with warm water and let it dry completely before the next session. The 5-hole diffuser perc is a deliberately simple design for exactly this reason — no complex percolation trees to scrub, no recessed chambers to trap buildup. The perc holes clear easily with a pipe cleaner or a targeted ISO soak when needed. Borosilicate glass does not absorb flavor or stain under normal use, so a clean rig after ISO maintenance performs identically to a new one. How often depends on use intensity — light daily use can go a week or two between deep cleans with regular quick rinses. Heavy sessions, especially at higher temperatures, benefit from a full clean every few days.
Is the Lighthouse a good first glass rig for someone just getting into ball vapes?
Yes, and it is a better starting point than a repurposed bong. New ball vape users often run their device through whatever water pipe they already own before they understand what purpose-built ball vape glass is doing differently. The Lighthouse is the correct introduction to that concept: it shows you what ball vaping through optimized glass actually feels like — the immediate density, the tactile draw feedback, the Kickback angle keeping the session comfortable — rather than a version softened by a too-large chamber. Once you know what the right glass does for your device, you understand why the pairing matters. The included 18mm to 14mm adapter also means you are not locked out of any accessories you may already own. If you are buying a WOHW, Ruby Twist Pro, or other injector setup for the first time, the Lighthouse is the glass to pair it with from day one rather than discovering it later.

That said, I’ve had quite a bit of glass over the last 20 years, and this is one of my favorite.
Very little draw resistance, forgiving on the amount of water you put into it, and very solid quality of glass. I detect literally zero imperfections, and that’s honestly rare in glass that isn’t more expensive. Welds look great, support pieces are thick, and the base is super thick.
Design-wise it’s really unconventional and cool, fits well in my average-sized hands, and it’s perfect for its intended use.
I think the only thing some people might not totally like is that it’s kind of a loud piece. I might like it just a tiny bit more if the diffuser/percolator had more/smaller holes.
Overall, I’m familiar with most of the glass out there, and I would 100% buy another of these if this one broke.
Thanks Dab Hut!
