Switch 2
Master Bundle
Switch 2 e-Rig. Ghost 2 portable. Dr. Dabber Drop hot knife. Tactical Mobilization Bag. Everything you need for a complete home-and-portable system — in one order.
The Complete Dr. Dabber Ecosystem
Dr. Dabber built the Switch 2 and Ghost 2 to share the same heating philosophy, the same three dynamic modes, and the same flavor-preservation approach. Buying them together is not just a cost move — it is the way Dr. Dabber designed these devices to work as a system.
Dr. Dabber Switch 2
The Switch 2 is Dr. Dabber’s flagship e-Rig and the most technically advanced induction-heated concentrate device on the market. It is built for concentrates, connects to the Dr. Dabber app, and includes a 20mm pure quartz insert that offers 300% more capacity than the original Switch — and keeps vapor cleaner and more flavorful than ceramic alternatives.
Dr. Dabber Ghost 2
The Ghost 2 carries the Switch 2’s heating philosophy into a palm-sized pen. Same three dynamic modes. Full ceramic vapor path. Flip-top magnetic lid. Built specifically to complement the Switch 2 when you are away from home base.
The Complete Kit
Beyond the two devices, the Master Bundle includes two accessories that make the system work properly from day one.

Included Accessory
Dr. Dabber Drop Hot Knife
The Drop is Dr. Dabber’s heated loading tool, and it is the correct way to load both the Switch 2 and the Ghost 2. The Ghost 2’s chamber has a narrow opening that requires precision loading — using a cold tool means wasted material on the chamber walls and uneven distribution. The Drop’s heated tip lets you place concentrates directly in the center of the insert or chamber without any dragging, tearing, or loss. Clean loads every time.

Included Accessory
Tactical Mobilization Bag
The Tactical Mobilization Bag is The Dab Hut’s padded carry solution included with this listing. It keeps the Switch 2, the Ghost 2, the Drop, and any accessories organized in one protected bag with a Velcro field for custom configuration. This is where this listing differs from the Dr. Dabber direct and other stock configurations — you get our bag instead of the Tour Bag, which adds utility for users who want a more customizable carry setup.

Switch 2 Master Bundle FAQ
The questions we get most before someone commits to the full Dr. Dabber system — including how the Switch 2 compares to the Puffco Peak Pro and what the three heating modes actually do.
How does the Switch 2 compare to the Puffco Peak Pro?
These are the two devices most buyers are choosing between at this price tier, and they take genuinely different approaches. The Peak Pro uses Puffco’s 3D chamber with a ceramic heating element and app-controlled temperature presets. It has strong brand recognition, a large aftermarket accessories ecosystem, and a proven track record. The Switch 2 uses omnidirectional induction heating with an integrated IR sensor — an infrared probe that reads the insert temperature in real time and adjusts power output accordingly. That is not marketing language for voltage-mapping; it is a physical sensor architecture that the Peak Pro does not have.
The Switch 2 also ships with a 20mm pure quartz insert rather than ceramic, which matters for flavor — quartz does not absorb terpene compounds or introduce off-taste the way ceramic surfaces can over time. The three dynamic heating modes (Descent, Ascent, Steady) give you session profiles the Peak Pro does not offer natively. On price, both devices sit in a comparable range. Where the Peak Pro wins: deeper third-party accessory compatibility and wider community familiarity. Where the Switch 2 wins: IR sensor precision, quartz insert vapor quality, dynamic heating profiles, and the unified ecosystem with the Ghost 2 portable. If flavor ceiling and technical precision are the priority, the Switch 2 is the stronger argument.
What does the IR sensor actually do that other e-Rigs don’t?
Most e-Rigs — including premium ones — infer insert temperature rather than measuring it. The common approach is to apply a known voltage to a known coil resistance and calculate what temperature that combination should produce based on lab testing. It works reasonably well under stable conditions, but load size, ambient temperature, how quickly you draw, and battery state all affect actual insert temperature, and the device has no way to compensate because it is not reading the real number.
The Switch 2’s infrared sensor measures the actual surface temperature of the quartz insert during your session and feeds that data back to the control system in real time. When you load a large dab that pulls more heat from the insert, the device detects the temperature drop and increases power output to compensate. When you draw slowly and the insert runs hotter than set, it backs off. The practical result is that your set temperature is the temperature you actually get — hit after hit, load after load, regardless of size or draw rate. That consistency is what separates the Switch 2 from e-Rigs that estimate rather than measure.
Which heating mode should I use — Descent, Ascent, or Steady?
Descent is the default and the right starting point for most concentrate users. Temperature drops 1 degree per second after reaching your set point, replicating how a traditional torch-and-banger dab cools across the pull. You get the terpene-rich flavor at the start when temperature is highest, with vapor density building as the session continues. If you are transitioning from torch-and-banger and want an electronic device that feels familiar, Descent is the mode that most closely mimics that experience.
Ascent is the cold-start profile. Temperature climbs gradually during your draw, starting at a lower point and building in intensity. This preserves the most delicate early-stage terpene expression and lets you taste what is in the concentrate before heat intensity takes over. Best for live rosin, fresh-pressed hash rosin, and any solventless material where you paid a premium for the terpene profile.
Steady holds a constant temperature throughout the session. It is the correct mode for new users still learning their temperature preferences, for group sessions where consistent hit-to-hit performance matters, and for anyone who wants a predictable, repeatable experience without the session profile variability of the other two modes. Start here if you are new to the device.
Why does the Switch 2 use a quartz insert instead of ceramic?
Quartz and ceramic both handle heat well, but they behave differently in terms of flavor. Ceramic is a porous material — over time and repeated sessions, it absorbs terpene compounds and residue into the surface, which can re-release during subsequent sessions and muddy the flavor of fresh material. Quartz is non-porous and chemically inert at vaping temperatures. Nothing soaks in, nothing carries over, and nothing interferes with what you actually loaded. The first dab on a clean quartz insert tastes the same as the hundredth once properly maintained.
The 20mm quartz insert included with the Switch 2 is also notably larger than what most competing e-Rigs ship with — three times the capacity of the original Switch. That means you can load a micro-dab for a solo flavor session or a full load for a group without the insert running out of room. The sapphire insert is available as an optional upgrade from Dr. Dabber for users who want to push the flavor ceiling even further, but the included quartz is the correct starting point for the vast majority of concentrate users.
Do I need to use the Dr. Dabber app, or is the Switch 2 functional without it?
The Switch 2 operates without the app — all three heating modes, temperature adjustment, and session control are accessible through the device buttons alone. The app is not required to get a high-quality session. That said, the app is where the full range of customization lives: precise temperature entry, hold time and session duration adjustments, LED lighting customization, and access to Dr. Dabber firmware updates. If you use the device without the app you are running it in a functional but simplified configuration. If you connect the app, you get access to the complete control set that Dr. Dabber designed the Switch 2 around. The initial setup recommendation is to connect the app at least once to run any available firmware updates, then use the device however fits your preference going forward.
What makes this bundle different from buying the Switch 2 and Ghost 2 separately?
Three things. First, price — the bundle comes in below what the same components cost individually at regular retail. Second, the Dr. Dabber Drop hot knife is included in this configuration. The Drop matters specifically for the Ghost 2: its chamber opening is narrow by design, and loading it with a cold dab tool means material sticking to the chamber walls and wasted concentrate. The Drop’s heated tip lets you place material directly in the center of the chamber cleanly, which is how Dr. Dabber designed both devices to be loaded. Third, the Tactical Mobilization Bag replaces the standard Tour Bag in this Dab Hut configuration — it includes a Velcro field for custom patch configuration and is sized to hold both devices, the Drop, and your accessories as an organized, grab-ready system rather than loose retail packaging. If you are planning to own both devices anyway, the bundle is the more cost-efficient path and arrives as a ready-to-use setup.
How is the Ghost 2 different from other concentrate pens at this price?
The Ghost 2 runs the same three dynamic heating modes as the Switch 2 — Descent, Ascent, and Steady — which is something no other concentrate pen in this form factor offers. Every other portable at this price point gives you fixed voltage presets or a single flat-temperature mode. The Ghost 2 gives you the same session profile control as a flagship desktop e-Rig in a device that fits in a jacket pocket. Beyond the modes, the full black zirconia ceramic vapor path means no silicone or metal in contact with your vapor — glass-equivalent purity in a pen form factor. The flip-top magnetic lid opens and closes with one thumb and stays out of the way while loading. USB-C charges it fully in about 60 minutes. For concentrate users who take their portable sessions as seriously as their home sessions, the Ghost 2 is the portable that matches that standard.
Can the Switch 2 handle dry herb, or is it concentrates only?
The Switch 2 handles both. The included 20mm quartz insert is the concentrate configuration. Dr. Dabber offers a separate glass cup insert for dry herb use, which uses the same induction base and heating platform. The glass cup is sold separately through Dr. Dabber’s site and authorized retailers. This is one of the core differences between the Switch 2 and the Lunar Lander eRig — the Lunar Lander is a concentrates-only device, while the Switch 2’s induction platform supports both use cases through interchangeable inserts. If you want a home device that covers both flower and concentrates without owning two separate rigs, the Switch 2 configuration in this bundle is the right loadout for that.
