Why Dual?
If you have ever wanted two coils hot at the same time without running two separate PIDs and two power cords, this is the solution. One enclosure. One outlet. Two completely independent temperature channels.

Ball Vape + Banger
Run your SS WOHW or any ball vape on one channel while keeping a 25mm banger, slurper, or auto spinner ready on the other. Switch between dry herb and concentrates without waiting for anything to heat up. Both are always at temp.

Two Ball Vapes
Running two ball vape setups for different bowls, different temperatures, or different people in the same session. Each channel holds its own set point. No need to re-dial between uses.

Any Combination
Two bangers. A wired conversion and a wireless dock. A low-temp flavor setup and a high-temp cloud setup. The Dual PID does not care what you plug in. If it takes a standard 5-pin XLR coil, it works.
Under the Hood
Same Brain, Twice
The Crossing Classic Dual PID uses the same XMT-7100 intelligent PID module found in the single Classic PID. Two of them, independently wired, sharing one power supply and one metal enclosure.
Dual XMT-7100 PID
Each channel runs its own XMT-7100 module. Full PID auto-tune, 1-degree set point resolution, and independent temperature hold. The same controller trusted in the single Classic PID, doubled.
Single Power Cord
One cord, one outlet, one on/off switch. The switch means it pairs directly with a smart plug for app or voice-controlled power. No need to run two separate units and clutter your station.
Metal Enclosure
Solid metal housing built for daily desktop use. Larger footprint than the single PID to accommodate both modules and XLR jacks, but still a single clean unit on your station.

Not all 5-pin XLR coils share the same wiring. Verify your coil’s pinout matches the Crossing PID configuration before purchase. Ask us on Discord if you are unsure.
What It Works With
Each XLR output accepts the same standard 5-pin XLR coils as the single Crossing Classic PID. If a coil works with the single PID, it works here.

Standard 5-Pin XLR
25mm barrel coils, 25mm axial coils, 25mm deep axial coils. Any coil pinned for the Crossing PID wiring configuration. Both outputs use the same pinout. Coils are sold separately.
Setups
Ball Vapes, Bangers, Slurpers
SS WOHW wireless or wired setups, any 25mm banger or slurper, auto spinner kits, or any other heating application that uses a compatible 5-pin XLR coil. Mix and match freely across both channels.

Coils Not Included
The Dual PID ships as a controller only. You will need to purchase coils separately. Our 25mm barrel and axial coils are available on the site and pinned for this unit out of the box.

Larger Footprint
The Dual PID is physically bigger than the single Classic PID. It houses two full PID modules and two XLR jacks. Plan your station layout accordingly. It replaces two single units, so the net desk space is still a win.

Single Outlet, Dual Load
Both coils draw from the same power circuit. Running two high-wattage coils simultaneously on a GFCI outlet can trip the breaker in some homes. If you experience trips, try a different outlet or a non-GFCI circuit.

Pinout Compatibility
Both XLR outputs use the Crossing PID pinout. Coils from other manufacturers with different wiring configurations will not work and could cause damage. Always verify before connecting a third-party coil.

Frequently Asked
Is this just two single PIDs in one box?
Functionally, yes. Two independent XMT-7100 PID modules with their own displays, their own XLR outputs, and their own temperature settings. They share one power supply and one enclosure, but they operate independently.
Can I run just one coil and leave the other output empty?
Yes. Each channel works independently. You can run one coil and leave the other XLR port empty with no issues. Just set the unused channel to off or leave it at its default.
Will my existing Crossing coils work with this?
If they work with the single Crossing Classic PID, they work with this. Same 5-pin XLR pinout on both outputs. Barrel coils, axial coils, deep axial coils. Plug in and go.
Can I use a smart plug with this?
Yes. The on/off switch makes it smart plug compatible. Plug the Dual PID into a smart plug, leave the switch in the “on” position, and control power from your phone or voice assistant. Both channels power on together.
What about the custom printed housings?
We are finalizing designs and color combinations for custom printed housings. These will be available as an add-on purchase or included in select bundle deals once ready. Follow our Discord for the latest updates.
