RBR or Incycler for my Switch GO?
Get the RBR if the GO mostly lives on a mat at home and you want the biggest, smoothest, best-looking pull the device can produce. Get the Incycler if you want serious filtration in something that still travels and still packs into a bag.
Plenty of people end up with both and swap depending on where they are going. They use the same connection, so switching takes seconds.
How much water goes in a recycler?
Less than you think. Start with the water line just under the uptake intake, take a dry pull, and see whether the loop kicks over. If nothing recycles, add a small amount. If you get water at the mouthpiece, pour some out. Once you find the line, it is the same fill every time.
Does it fit the Switch 2 as well?
No. This piece is made for the Switch GO connection. The Switch 2 uses a different glass interface, and we carry a separate RBR Vortex Recycler for the Switch 2. If you are not sure which device you have, message us before ordering and we will confirm it.
How do I clean it?
Change the water after every few sessions and rinse with warm water. For a real clean, soak it in isopropyl with coarse salt, cap both openings, agitate, and rinse thoroughly until there is no alcohol smell left. Wipe the joint and the outside with a 75% ethyl alcohol wipe once it is dry. Never put it in a dishwasher and never run hot water into a cold piece.
Is it fragile?
It is borosilicate glass with two chambers and a return arm, so it is more delicate than a single-chamber top and much more delicate than the stock glass. It handles heat and normal use without complaint. It does not handle a fall off a table. Treat it like the rig it is and keep it somewhere it will not get knocked.
