No Spinner Cap Needed.
Two angled holes built into the banger bucket force air into a vortex when you pull, spinning the terp pearl automatically. We include an 8mm moissanite pearl instead of the standard quartz, and a 14mm-to-10mm adapter so it works on your rig right out of the box.

Construction
A standard banger bucket is a cylinder. Air comes in from the top and goes straight down. A spinner cap redirects that airflow into a vortex. An auto spinner banger makes that built into the quartz itself.

01
Two Angled Holes in the Bucket Wall
The auto spinner has two precisely angled holes cut into the side walls near the base of the bucket. These are not holes for airflow in the traditional sense. They are directional nozzles. Air entering through them is already pointed tangentially around the inner wall.
|
02
Vortex Forms as You Pull
When you cap the banger and draw, the pressure difference pulls air through those angled holes rather than from the top of the bucket. The result is a vortex spinning around the interior of the bucket. The pearl lifts off the bottom and rides that airflow continuously.
|
03
Even Coverage with Any Cap
Because the spin is generated by the banger itself, you do not need a specially angled spinner cap to get your pearl moving. Cap the top to shut off airflow from above, and the side holes take over. A flat marble cap is all you need.

This banger uses a full weld design, meaning the airflow holes are formed during the weld rather than drilled through the finished quartz after the fact. No drilled-hole stress points. No sharp edges where the quartz was cut through. The joint and bucket form a single seamless piece, which is more structurally sound than a traditional welded banger with added holes.
Most kits at this price point include a quartz or borosilicate glass pearl. We include moissanite because it performs meaningfully better in a spinning banger setup, and an 8mm diameter is the right size for a 25mm bucket.
|
9.25 Mohs Hardness
Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale. Quartz is a 7. That gap matters. A harder pearl chips less, scratches less, and survives repeated thermal cycling better. It also stays polished longer, which keeps the surface clean and non-stick.
|
Better Heat Retention
Moissanite is denser than quartz and holds heat longer per unit of mass. In a spinning banger, that means the pearl stays hot enough to vaporize concentrate through more of your pull, particularly useful at lower temperature dabs where you want sustained contact.
|
8mm for a 25mm Bucket
Size matters for spin efficiency. An 8mm pearl in a 25mm bucket has enough mass to ride the vortex while still clearing the floor and walls freely. Too small and the pearl moves but doesn’t carry enough heat. Too large and it sits rather than spins.
|
| Property | Moissanite (Included) | Standard Quartz |
|---|---|---|
| Hardness (Mohs) | 9.25 | 7.0 |
| Chip Resistance | High | Moderate |
| Heat Retention | Better | Standard |
| Surface Durability | Stays polished longer | Dulls with use |
| Thermal Cycling | Handles repeated heat cycles well | Can develop microcracks over time |
The banger in this kit uses a 10mm male joint. That’s the less common size, and we know most rigs out there are 14mm female. That’s exactly why we include the adapter. You shouldn’t have to buy an extra piece just to use a banger kit.
|
On a 10mm Rig
You’re all set. Drop the 10mm male banger directly into your 10mm female joint. No adapter needed. Set it aside as a spare.
|
On a 14mm Rig
Use the included 14mm-to-10mm glass adapter. It drops into your 14mm female joint, and the 10mm banger goes into the adapter. No tools, no silicone, no fuss. This is a standard glass-to-glass connection.
|
On an 18mm Rig
The included adapter bridges 14mm to 10mm only. If your rig is 18mm, you’ll need a separate 18mm-to-10mm adapter. Those are widely available and inexpensive, but they are not included in this kit.
|
If you are not sure what size joint your rig has, check where the banger or nail attaches. Most rigs sold in the US are 14mm female. The adapter included in this kit will cover you. If you are unsure, ask us on Discord or via our contact page before ordering.
Four pieces. Ready to dab as soon as you unpack. No extras to buy unless your rig is 18mm.

Spinner caps work by directing airflow into a vortex through angled holes in the cap. An auto spinner banger already creates that vortex internally. Running a spinner cap on top creates competing airflow patterns that disrupt each other and actually reduce spin. Use a flat cap or the included marble cap to seal the top.
This banger kit is designed for concentrate use with any e-nail or PID setup. If you’re also in the market for a dry herb ball vape, the SS WOHW is what we build in-house with Crossing Technology. These two products work well together in a dual-purpose desktop setup.

Does the pearl actually spin on its own, or do I still need a special cap?
Yes, it spins on its own as you pull. The two angled holes in the bucket wall generate the vortex internally. You need to seal the top of the banger with any cap that fully covers the opening so airflow is forced through the side holes. The included marble cap does this. A flat carb cap works too. What you should not use is a spinner cap, because it creates competing airflow with the holes that are already built into the banger.
My rig is 14mm. Will this kit work for me?
Yes. The banger is 10mm male, but we include a 14mm-to-10mm glass adapter specifically for this. Drop the adapter into your 14mm female joint, insert the 10mm banger into the adapter, and you’re set. No additional accessories needed.
Why does this kit include a moissanite pearl instead of quartz?
Most kits include a quartz or glass pearl because it’s the cheapest option. Moissanite costs more but performs better in almost every measurable way: it’s harder (9.25 vs 7 Mohs), chips less, holds heat longer, and its surface stays cleaner and more polished over time. In a spinning banger where the pearl is constantly bouncing off the quartz walls and floor, that hardness difference is real. We spec the moissanite because it’s the right choice for the setup, not as a marketing add-on.
What temperature should I dab at with this banger?
The sweet spot for most concentrates in a 25mm quartz banger is around 480 to 570°F for low-temp flavor-focused dabs, and up to around 650°F for larger hits. The moissanite pearl holds heat well enough that you can dab at the lower end of that range without losing your concentrate. Start low and work up until you find what your material and preference prefers. Cold-start dabbing also works well with this banger, where you load concentrate and pearl cold and then apply heat.
How do I clean this banger?
Standard quartz banger cleaning applies. While the banger is still warm after a dab, swab the inside of the bucket with a dry cotton swab to remove residual oil before it carbonizes. For deeper cleaning, ISO alcohol on a swab or a short ISO soak clears built-up reclaim. The two angled side holes can be cleared with a thin pipe cleaner or cotton swab tip soaked in ISO. Avoid heating a dirty banger at high temp, which is how chazzing happens. The pearl can be cleaned by soaking in ISO separately.
Can I use multiple pearls in this banger?
You can, but more is not always better. An 8mm pearl in a 25mm bucket is a good single-pearl setup. If you add a second 8mm pearl, you may find the vortex has a harder time getting both spinning, depending on your pull speed and how your setup is sealed. Two 6mm pearls can work, but monitor whether they are actually spinning or just sitting. If you are experimenting, start with the included single 8mm pearl and only add more if you have a specific reason to do so.
Can I use this banger with an e-nail or PID controller?
Yes. Auto spinner bangers work well with e-nails because the coil maintains a steady temperature, which means the vortex spin is consistent and reproducible. If you’re using an e-nail coil, confirm it’s sized for a 25mm banger. We carry the Crossing Classic PID in our store for exactly this kind of setup. The marble carb cap included in the kit works fine with an e-nail setup too.

Verified BuyerI tried to talk myself out of buying another banger, but then I saw this deal.
See, I know that The Dab Hut puts together the best stuff, every time.
Just all around great banger set up and fits the 25mm Deep Axial Coil like a glove!
